You will create a logo for a fictional beverage company. You will be provided a design brief from another student, who will act as the client. You will adhere to that students specifications to design a logo for their beverage company. You can reach out to your client do get more information if you need it. You can also ask for or suggest changes. (Name Change,  Colors Change, etc)

What is a logo?

    1. This is extra info that could be helpful or help define the brand.

Create 10 Sketches of possible logos for your brand. These are done by hand with pen/pencil and paper.

  • You will photograph your sketches and put them in a folder and zip that folder.
  • You will sketch out your whole logo (the Mark and the words)
  • These will be fully formed ideas, so we can see what you have in mind for this project.
  • You will save you sketches as jpgs

Research and Understanding

  • Samples on the Internet
  • Discussion and design feedback for your Client’s Drink Brand

In Adobe Illustrator, you will create 4 different logos that might be used as your final logo. Make each logo no bigger than 2″ x 2″ on the page. The logos should be arranged 2 by 2 on an 8.5×11 sheet of paper. Make sure you take into account your target audience as defined in Part 1.

You will only turn in 4 versions for this draft, but you should probably create at least 10+ different ideas and choose your 4 best ideas.

Do not turn in more than 4 ideas. This will require you to self-select your best ideas.
