The file you download with be an Adobe Illustrator file. It will have 3 artboards.
- The Live Type
- Outlined Type
- The Final Design
The live type might not show up for you if you do no have the Font on your computer. The font, MetroScript, is a purchased. It is designed by Michael Doret in 2006 and published by his type foundry Alphabet Soup.
You do not need to purchase the font in order to do this exercise. We will not be using the active font for this exercise. It is there for reference only. You can use the Outlined Type that was converted into a graphic on the second artboard.
The different version of the word “Swift” are represented by using different glyphs within the typeface. We will be using the last version on the page.
